How Do I Shake The Feeling That My Weight Loss Isn’t Real?

After my doctor diagnosed me with a hormonal disorder and told me that I was greatly at risk for developing high blood pressure, cholesterol, cardiovascular problems, etc. I decided to get in shape!
It has been about 6 weeks and I have lost 32 pounds and I feel great! I still have a lot more to lose unfortunately but, I’m staying strong.
The only problem I have now is disbelief that I actually lost some weight. I step on the scale and see the numbers moving down, I have to wear a belt now because my pants would fall down, but yet I keep thinking I will wake up tomorrow and it will ALL be back.
Has anyone else had this same fear about their shrinking waist size? I am almost scared to give myself a reward (non food related) for the weight loss because I think I am going to jinx myself.

You are suffering from “Fear of Success”. I once lost over 70 pounds and still didn’t realize how much I had changed. Embrace your weight loss and fight to hang on to it. Make your new foods and exercise a new lifestyle, not just a temporary diet. I am embarking on a new attempt and will embrace every pound I lose because I have serious health problems and weight loss will help overcome some of my extreme suffering and pain.

Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com
Good luck and stay focused = )

Reward yourself by buying a new pair of pants that fit right now. Go inexpensive and tell yourself that you aren’t going to be wearing them for very long because you have more to do. Try packing up things in your closet that are just way too big and not let yourself think about the weight coming back–it’s simply not an option anymore because the clothes are gone! The weight won’t come back unless you give up and you are proving that you are strong and able to do this! You are doing so great so keep it up! I know so many people who just don’t want to get in shape and still complain about not being healthy–so way to go for you! Your loss is real; the scale numbers don’t lie! Trust me I’ve tried to think that they do! And do reward yourself with something helpful–you could also find a new workout video or a new set of at home weights or something that can be your next reward. Set your mind to things you want and reward with every so many pounds. Good luck and good job thus far!! You can do it!

Negative Calorie Foods

The phrase, "negative calorie food", as highlighted in negative calorie diet programs and books, usually refers to foods that allegedly require more energy to digest than they contain. Since the process of digestion requires the use of calories for energy, sometimes the net amount of metabolizable energy available from a food is less than the gross number of calories contained in the food.
