I Would Like To Know If Anyone Has Tried To Do A Competition With A Spouse For Weight Loss. I Need Some Ideas?

what would be a good prize. Any ideas for time structure or rules? How do you figure out body weight loss percentage?

    My husband and I tried this but it didn’t work…maybe it will for you guys.
    When we decided to have the “competition” we wrote down a list of things we would like the other to do…(IE It can be sexual or maybe some home improvements you have wanted and he hasn’t done…dates whatever you want) Put each item into a box or hat of your own.
    Now…each week keep track of your weight and at the end whoever lost the most got to reach in and pick something from their hat/box of which then the “loser” had to do what the “winner” wanted.
    Ours didn’t work because all hubby wanted was sexual things while I chose to go the house hold chore route(Wanting him to do dishes…laundry and such) He didn’t like that and got upset since he only won once for the month that we did it and refused to do my things..

    I personally have not, but I have a friend that are currently having a competition with her husband, her husband’s friend and his wife. They all put $50 into a pool and winner takes all. Whoever lost the most weight in 3 months gets the $200. Money is a great motivator.

    MEN lose weight 10 times easier and faster than women do because that is how it is. Keep in mind when he drops the pounds much faster than you do. I have heard that women’s bodies are designed to hold on to the weight because we have to have babies! Isn’t that nice…men’s bodies don’t – they can shed the pounds off quick if they’re trying.
