Does Anyone Have Any Good Weight Loss Suggestions?
Okay so I’m a bit overweight for my height and age and I would like to lose about 10-20 pounds. I exercise regularly but it isn’t helping me shed body fat. If you have any tips, diets, or workouts that would be greatly appreciated.

In 2005 i was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and I’m “very overweight” (250 pounds). The doctor said I should think about losing some weight and start to exercise. I’ve had three back surgeries since 2001, I used to be a size five. But then I blew up to an astonishing size 22. I’ve tried throwing up my food but that I could never succeed at it even though Ive tried a thousand times. I’ve try marking down everything I eat, took weight loss pills and exercising to burn the extra fat. You name it, i’ve tried it.
Finally, in April 2008 my best friend introduce me a new technique of weight loss program. At first i was a bit skeptical since i’ve been ripped off a few times. But after joining the program, I’ve lost 30 pounds in the first month and currently my weight is 120 pounds. -No soda/diet soda
-No white flour/bread, junk food, fried food, deserts, avoid sugar
-Drink alot of water
-Eat lots of veggies, fruit, lean meats, grilled fish
Help with cravings:
Drink water, drink something hot like hot water with lemon, or hot tea with no sweetner.
If you’re craving ssomething like a chocolate bar – go for a few squares of dark chocolate instead, save on calories.
Healthy desert idea: No fat vanilla yogurt, a few squares of crushed dark chocolate, add some fresh berries or cereal on top.
Meal ideas:
Breakfast:
Spinach omlette, 1 whole grain toast with light cream cheese.
Lunch:
1 whole grain bread slice, mayo, lean turkey slices, tomato, lettuce.
An apple.
Dinner:
Grilled chicken & salad
or
Grilled Salmon & veggies
Snack: Fat free yogurt or watermelon.
Try some yoga, going for long brisk walks, crunches, sit up’s, weight lifting, squats, stuff like that will help

For one to lose weight, the equation would be cut calories = weight loss. I am in the 5 + 1 Green Meal plan. It cuts calories drastically and it allows better hunger management. Which is the usually problem with the dieters.

Eat like a bird and poop like an elephant. Many little healthy meals through out the day is better than 3 big meals a day. I drink a protein shake 30 mins after working out, which aides in lean muscle building. I use twists while picking up a weight when bending down to trim my waist. I use Joey Atlas’s lower body excercises. A lower weight with fewer reps helps loose fat while a heavy weight with less reps builds muscle. Do your cardio after your weight training to increase fat loss. Hope it helps!
Eat alot of green things. (Veggies, fruits etc.) and protein, drink ALOT of water and try to keep your daily calorie intake at around 1,800-2,000 depending on your weight. Work out at least 5 times a week, for 30 mins even more to get quicker results. NEVER skip a meal, and eat 6 small portioned, heatly meals a day.
Also, if your sweettooth kicks in, pop some gum into your mouth. It will take your mind off of your cravings and will save you lots of calories! Good luck!

You don’t need any particular just eat healthily and exercise as much as you feel able to – but to be honest their is nothing wrong with being a bit overweight I actually think it’s kind of attractive
