I Have Been Taking Yasmin For About 2 Weeks Now And I Have Had No Symptoms Even A Little Weight Loss?

but the thing is i started a quick start. if i didnt start birth control i would be getting my period in two days but since i started it i still have to wait eight. Yesterday i got really bloated and have gained two pounds, could this just be from my body thinking i should get my peiod in two days even though it wont?

    Wow… I’m sorry you got such horrible “answers” to your question.
    First off, no birth control pill can cause breast cancer… there have been many many studies to try to find a connection between birth control and breast cancer and absolutely no connection has been found. That woman is an idiot (and a jerk for writing such a scary “answer”.)
    Secondly, I cannot believe that people use Yahoo Answers to advertise! That is truly awful!
    Finally, to answer your question, I think your bloating and weight gain are just your body’s “natural” cycle coming through. It usually takes a few months for your body to adjust to a pill. I’m on Yaz and I always feel a little bit of bloating a few days before I start my placebo pills. On a few occasions I have even gotten my period a few days before I finish my active pills, so it seems like no matter what, my body is aware of it’s own cycle. I really don’t think you have anything to worry about. Good luck!
